Why This Exists

Nobody gets promoted for being good with people.

They get promoted because they were the best operator on the yard. Then on Monday they're supposed to coach, hire, run a safety meeting, handle the driver who's furious about a schedule, and answer the phone at 2 AM when a truck goes over.

Nobody taught them any of that. That is the entire reason this summit exists — and why we cap the room at 40 people instead of filling an auditorium.

What You Walk Away With

Six things you can use Monday morning.

Not theory, and not a binder you never open again. These are the specific problems we work through, in the room, with people who have the same problems.

01

A hiring process that stops the churn

Interview questions that actually predict who stays, and an onboarding week that makes new drivers feel like they joined something instead of just getting keys.

02

Coaching that changes behavior

How to have the hard conversation about the phone, the speed, or the attitude so it lands as coaching and not a write-up — and so the behavior is actually different next week.

03

Safety meetings drivers don't hate

The Stand Up Safety station rotation. You will run one here, with the group, and take the format home.

04

A week that isn't 70 hours

Time mastery and meeting structure for owners who are still driving because it feels faster than delegating. It isn't.

05

A plan for the 2 AM call

Accident and injury management — what you do in the first hour, what you document, and how you take care of the driver without exposing the company.

06

A free onboarding program, built for you

Every attendee leaves with a custom driver orientation program branded to their own company — narrated videos, quizzes, compliance built in. Yours to keep and run.

Night One · February 17

Before You Ask

The honest answers.

How and when do I pay?

At registration. The form takes you straight to checkout and your seat is confirmed once payment goes through — we do not hold unpaid seats. Online checkout takes cards and adds a 3% service fee. If you would rather pay by bank transfer, email us and we will send an ACH invoice with no fee.

Is $750 really everything?

Yes. Both days of training, the workbook, catered lunches, the Feb 16 cocktail social, the Casa Rio dinner with keynote and mariachi, and the driver onboarding program. Travel and your hotel room are on you. Nothing else.

Can I send my whole team?

Yes — $750 each. Pick the number in the form and the invoice is built for it automatically. Six or more, email us and we'll handle it directly.

I'm not a "conference person."

Good. Neither are we. There is no trade show floor, no booths, and no auditorium. It's 40 people at tables doing the work, and you will be asked to participate.

I've been running trucks for 25 years.

Then you'll get the most out of the hiring, delegation and meeting sessions, and the rest of the room will get something out of you. Last year's group ranged from brand-new supervisors to long-time owners.

Where do I stay?

The La Quinta San Antonio Riverwalk, where the workshop runs, or anywhere nearby. Contact us for hotel details — the social is the evening of Feb 16 and Casa Rio runs to 9 PM on the 17th.

What if my plans change?

Registrations are non-refundable and payment is due before the event. If you need to send someone else in your place instead, that's fine — just tell us who.
