Two days of hands-on leadership training built for tow company owners and supervisors. Hiring that sticks, coaching that changes behavior, and safety systems your drivers actually use.
Registration is open · first come, first served · cocktail social the evening of Feb 16
Why This Exists
They get promoted because they were the best operator on the yard. Then on Monday they're supposed to coach, hire, run a safety meeting, handle the driver who's furious about a schedule, and answer the phone at 2 AM when a truck goes over.
Nobody taught them any of that. That is the entire reason this summit exists — and why we cap the room at 40 people instead of filling an auditorium.
What You Walk Away With
Not theory, and not a binder you never open again. These are the specific problems we work through, in the room, with people who have the same problems.
Interview questions that actually predict who stays, and an onboarding week that makes new drivers feel like they joined something instead of just getting keys.
How to have the hard conversation about the phone, the speed, or the attitude so it lands as coaching and not a write-up — and so the behavior is actually different next week.
The Stand Up Safety station rotation. You will run one here, with the group, and take the format home.
Time mastery and meeting structure for owners who are still driving because it feels faster than delegating. It isn't.
Accident and injury management — what you do in the first hour, what you document, and how you take care of the driver without exposing the company.
Every attendee leaves with a custom driver orientation program branded to their own company — narrated videos, quizzes, compliance built in. Yours to keep and run.
Two Days, In Pictures
Small tables, real conversation, and a dinner on the Riverwalk that runs long because nobody wants to leave. These are from the last one.
The Schedule
Included. The first networking moment, before anyone has to perform.
Catered lunch both days. Instructional workbook included. Everything above is covered by your $750 — there is no second ticket to buy.
Night One · February 17
Est. 1946 on the San Antonio Riverwalk. Colored umbrellas, tables on the water, live mariachi, and a keynote. The whole group goes, it is included in your registration, and it is the part people talk about a year later.
Who's Running The Room
Not motivational speakers. Four people who have run transportation operations, hired and fired, and taken the 2 AM call themselves.
Three decades in warehouse operations, transportation and safety — earned from the ground up, night dispatcher to Vice President of Operations inside food distribution. Founder of Synergy Solutions and CEO of Driver Education Network, he is known across the industry as a turnaround specialist — the one brought in when a team is underperforming and the numbers have to change. He has built high-performing teams inside operations generating up to $800M a year.
Twenty years in transportation — driver at Sysco, transportation manager and safety director at Shamrock Foodservice, Director of Transportation at Sygma Network — then into insurance risk management with one of the nation's leading towing captive insurance groups. Sitting on that side of the table showed him exactly which operational habits drive a tow company's claims and premiums, and which ones bring them down. That is the lens he brings to this room.
Welder. Stock broker. Musician. College professor. Graphic artist. MBA. Safety specialist, and now a partner in the firm. Jesse's path is the least conventional on this faculty and it shows in the room — he brings a rare creative intelligence to leadership development and an unusual amount of empathy for the person on the other side of a hard conversation. If a session makes you rethink something you were sure you already understood, it is probably his.
A certified K-12 teacher in both Texas and New Mexico with BA and MA degrees in Education — the only person on this faculty trained to teach before being trained in safety. She designs and delivers the sessions on defensive driving, employee engagement, performance management and conflict resolution, and coaches individuals and teams one-on-one. She is the reason this runs as a workshop and not a lecture.

Where It Happens
The workshop runs at the La Quinta by Wyndham San Antonio Riverwalk — a real conference venue in the middle of the city, steps from the water and minutes from the Alamo. Rooms are available on site, so you are not commuting to training.

Yes — $750 each. Pick the number in the form and the invoice is built for it automatically. Six or more, email us and we'll handle it directly.
Good. Neither are we. There is no trade show floor, no booths, and no auditorium. It's 40 people at tables doing the work, and you will be asked to participate.
Then you'll get the most out of the hiring, delegation and meeting sessions, and the rest of the room will get something out of you. Last year's group ranged from brand-new supervisors to long-time owners.
The La Quinta San Antonio Riverwalk, where the workshop runs, or anywhere nearby. Contact us for hotel details — the social is the evening of Feb 16 and Casa Rio runs to 9 PM on the 17th.
Registrations are non-refundable and payment is due before the event. If you need to send someone else in your place instead, that's fine — just tell us who.
